PinnAfrica have recently developed an online electronic interface platform, called a Microsite, to enable effective and efficient access to the full range of PinnAfrica products over the internet.

Why is this significant?
While most of the large motor groups are already selling Value Added Products (VAPS) e.g. GAP, Top Up, Excess Protector, Shortfall Protector etc there are significant number of small dealerships and brokers who are unable to capitalize on this market due to IT infrastructure constraints, complicated administration processes and regulatory compliance.

The Microsite:
Through the establishment of the Microsite, PinnAfrica are able to offer dealers and brokers alike an online interface in which to sell VAPS without having to spend money on systems and/or IT infrastructure. All that is required is a computer with access to the internet.

Administration:
The microsite is fully integrated with PinnAfrica’s Underwriting System and data validation is done upfront, thereby ensuring accuracy and consistency of the information captured.

Each and every change made to the database is traceable and auditable. Policy detail changes have procedures built in to ensure FICA compliance.

The system further utilizes Host to Host Technology with Standard Bank which ensures minimal human intervention and reduces errors with regards to banking transactions for the collection of premiums and payment of refunds.

The system can also be used to upload and store all relevant documentation.

Using a PinnAfrica Microsite, brokers and dealers alike are easily and effectively able to manage and maintain their own portfolio of products.
